von Since 2020-04-27 the Zoom 5.0 Update is live and the new functions have improved Zoom a lot in the areas security and privacy. Meetings having passwords and waiting rooms by default and Hosts can remove unbidden guests or lock the conference completely. Many of us are using these functions actively and love them.
The new encryption is providing more security but also needs to be kept in sight especially by System administrators. While the new encryption is ow only used if all participants support it, from 2020-05-30 on the new encryption will be activated systemwide. The Zoom 5.0 update is therefore necessary for all users from 2020-05-30.
